City Resident - 6:19 PM
acl123, I'm sorry for your loss. I never said anyone deserved to die. You wrote "But as her cousin we are hoping that other teens will look at this tragic accident and see the importance of paying attention to the road and not other happenings in the car they are in." Well how does all the news coverage of "5 Fairport Angels" help other young teens from doing the same thing? I've seen things like collecting prom dresses on the news, yet during the whole segment they or the parents or friends never address to us the importance of NOT Texting or using a phone while driving. Why NOT raise money to make bumper stickers saying not to use the phone while driving? ---and "having an application in", is NOT having a Full License. It's like saying I can carry a gun, because I "applied" for a gun permit. I hope you are NOT in support of this law. ? Why should the rest of New Yorkers have another law or rule to follow, just because one young girl made a bad mistake? Plus if you support the law, you would be like saying, if the driver survived, she should be ticketed or jailed. ? But I guess you would also say it wasn't her using her phone and/or looking at someone else's phone, just like you said the "application was in". We are very lucky a truck was involved, what if it was a young family of 6 or even worst and school bus full of kids? We need to teach our children and supervise them, not make more laws for "other people" for their mistakes.

City resident, let us know when you need the 0.25 cents per page. We will take up a collection for 10 pages worth. $2.50. Find something real to complain about. On the other hand keep talking like a moron that is what we all expect.

I think people are rediculous to act like they will have the money on a certain day and plan their lives and bills on it. We are lucky we are getting this money at all. Why count your chickens before they hatch!? You will get your money when you get it!

City Resident - 5:58 PM
If your a "victim of a crime", it is ridiculous to have to wait even 5 days and have to pay even 25 cent a page. No other area police department in the area work this way. Check it out, get your facts straight. Why does the RPD do it differently? Victims should get a free copy and right away, or else they are being victimized AGAIN.

This may not have helped this situation, but I wonder if a background check was run? Schools are getting very lax at investigating employees and contract companies are worse. Schools usually hire quickly and then finger print and for some unknown reason it takes 3 months to get a report. This is not right, they should process quickly and do not hire the person until the report comes.

So exactly what good has been done? Now he's going to be among us, plotting again, only this time being more careful and more resentful...

City Resident, FYI Bailey did have a night license application in. She did drivers ed and we her family are not sure she was actually doing the texting. Sara who was also in the front passenger side is the great texter of the group. it is assumed at this point in case you need further clarification: Sara read an incoming text and Bailey glanced at it/her quickly when she lost control. Girls behind said Sara was texting while Bailey was driving. I am sorry if you see this as not appropriate for their press exposure. But as her cousin we are hoping that other teens will look at this tragic accident and see the importance of paying attention to the road and not other happenings in the car they are in. I am assuming that you think the girls in the back seat deserved to die because they were with her. I think you are an a**who needs to be a little more sympathetic for our family's lost if you would like me to be more sympathetic on your lost. Bailey and girls were a great loss as I am sure you consider the loss of your family. City resident maybe you should learn all the details of an accident before you judge
