I think he was entirely justified in detaining those kids.No charges should be upheld. If he had let them go home- the parents probably would have sworn they were home all evening. 8 year olds out at 9:30 at night without the parents knowing what they are up to??? That's awful ! The destruction they caused is inexcuseable!

The jury should have considered Scerbo being drunk. Obviously with his several DWI convictions and resultant prison time, he is a professional drunk. Professional drunks don't always appear drunk. Blood alcohol content that is three times the legal limit clearly demonstrates intoxication. He's a drunk. He killed Heather. Give me a break.

The Scerbo jury was not confused. They wanted the evidence to be there it just wasn't, not when several people testified that he did not act drunk like slurring his speech or swerving while driving. The burden of proof is on the prosecutor. He needs to do his job.

I can't even. There are no words. Not allowing priors in? That's pattern of behavior. These two idiots had more on their side than the victim ever could have. The justice system is mired in "legalease" that baffles. I can only hope when he gets out, he never EVER drives again. But that's a slim hope.

So Kellie...do you know this young man? I'm almost certain the answer is no!! He wasn't on drugs, nor had he been drinking. His "look" is from being beat up by the same people he retaliated against. I do agree his actions weren't well thought out nor a wise choice on his part. He will pay for his actions. Unfortunately there is a lot missing from this article that few know. If you knew all that has occurred up til this episode...you may change your opinion of the "moron". I do hope those things never occur to you or yours, and if they do your able to handle it differently than he chose to. When the court report comes out with all the info, you may view it in a different light!!
