Rochester, N.Y. - 13WHAM is pleased to announce that anchor/Associate News Director, Don Alhart, has agreed to terms on a new multi-year contract extension.
"When you think of news in Rochester, you think of Don Alhart," remarked Chuck Samuels, General Manager of 13WHAM-TV. "The passion he has for his job and this community is evident every day. We are thrilled to let the viewers know that he will be behind the anchor desk for many years to come."

"I am blessed to work with a talented team of experienced broadcast professionals, and God willing, I hope to keep doing that for the foreseeable future."
Alhart has worked as an on-air personality at 13WHAM-TV in Rochester for nearly fifty years, having joined WOKR-TV (now WHAM-TV) as a reporter in 1966. He has won numerous awards and honors, including several Edward R. Murrow awards.
Alhart was inducted in the New York State Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in 2010.
