Clover, you are the one that just cannot understand that the terrorists have just moved to Pakistan or where ever and even if we stay in Afghanistan for a hundred years we will not change that. Do you think they have stopped plotting against us just because they aren't in Afghanistan for right now?????????????? The terrorists can operate from ANYWHERE, you jerk. And in the meantime our troops are being killed.

The fact remains they trained in Afhganistan and America, they were not sent by the government of SA, this was an act of terrorism with no nation-state involvement. So in the end we have two arguments, yours which is to pretend like everything is okay and go back to business as usual before 9/11 and the opposite which is to fight terrorism to prevent another massacre of 3000 (or more) Americans.

We didn't go to Iraq to fight terrorism. No WMD's were ever found. We went to war with Iraq because Saddam wasn't playing the US economic game. Plus he decided he was only accepting euro's as cash for his oil. Where would that leave the US? Nope..the economic hit men couldn't get him nor the CIA cause his body guards were to good. So Bush started the war and sent our soldiers over there who eventually got him. Yes his own people hung him but for their own reasons. Read Confessions of an Economic hit man by John Perkins if you don't believe me. Our brave soldiers are dying for the empire of the USA. All boils down to money.
