I'm glad the mf got to stay on as one of the main mf of our mf schools. She is one fine mf example for all our mf kids. You go, mf!

I agree with the mayor. While I don't condone the language, I understand the frustration. However, how can the mayor continue to support a major part of the problem: Brizard. The man has done NOTHING other than cut good teachers and hired high priced administrators. Brizard is using Rochester as an expensive stepping stone to fruther his own career, and this city is going to suffer. Get rid of the useless members of the board and elect more Cynthia Elliots and FIRE Brizard!

Well I certainly don't want to sound like moosher.

Wayne- You are sounding dangerously close to Muhser minus the LEAP part, and the white boy talking Ebonics. There has to be a solution to meet somewhere in the middle, because it is a cycle that will keep repeating itself.

Duffy you are going to get to be mayor again, take it easy with the PC crap. The city school district doesn't need any city oversight, they already have a dysfunctional city school board for that. You can't do anything about how much money they receive but blizzard is making sure he gets his cut of it fo sho. What the city school district/kids need are decent parents. The average city school kid isn't dropping out of school from lack of funding, teachers, social welfare programs, after school programs or state mandates. The average city school kid is dropping out of school because they are being raised by a cycle of degenerate parents whom most likely dropped out of school themselves, got pregnant and live off the system. Once one of you gubment peeps can figure out the solution to that never ending loop everything else will fall into place. Until then the city school districts will be what they are, a temporary holding cell for those city kids that will eventually end up in the system or living off it.

Who doesn't swear here and there? Majority of people probably do on a daily basis. The point is: be aware of where you are!! Are you somewhere where someone else can hear you (people at a board meeting sitting in the audience)? Well, then you need to control yourself and have enough maturity to not act or say things like that especially at a Board Meeting. Be professional. Am I condoning what she said? Absolutely not!! Does she seem like she is truly concerned for the students or using this particular time of the year to make it seem like she does? (you know the ones who don't say boo all year and then October comes around and you bring up concerns that have been going on all year, but just start to make a big deal of them in October-before Elections?) Is that what she is doing? Is she opportunistic? Don't know, hard to tell. You want to be able to think the best about someone, but can you trust your judgement, your instincts. To sum it up: Don't go vote against her just because she said some harsh swear words - whuppity do dah!!!!

We simply can not have a person of this demeaner on the school board. In this day and age of our kids throwing the "f" bomb around like it's popcorn, Elliot is a very poor example!! Tom Brennan is sincere about the kids and the operational aspect of the district. He is a decent and caring person and I'm sure you can leave the mike on all the time with him.

If ms. elliott is the standard for a role model for city childen, I am so glad my childen are grown and my grandchild attends a suburban school. These kids deserve better. Just because "her heart is in the right place" it does not excuse her behavior. As for the mayor's comments, you just lost my vote, bob.

unfortunately i voted for him and i would never again if he had an opponent!

jerrin is correct, she is spokesperson for the people of the city. it doesnt give the youth a positive statement by her vulgarity in a professional environment. i wonder what its like and how she really feels away from her big cit council seat??? what good has she really done? i really think its time to really take a closer look at all these political -so called "ambassadors" also it doesnt say much that duffy supports her because in my opinion he really hasnt proved his worth to this city! he is just a smooth talker that should have stuck with police work and let city government be handled by someone that has real experience in business of government. oh wait was the city crime problems corrected while he was chief? he most likely failed as he is failing with his city political agenda!
