Geneseo, N.Y. – Two Long Island men have been charged with attempted robbery following an incident on School Street Sunday morning.
Police say Corey Suozzo, 20, and Thomas Wood, 19, demanded cash from a SUNY Geneseo student. Wood was armed with a switchblade.
Suozzo and Wood were later arrested at a dorm on the SUNY Geneseo campus, where they were visiting a friend. Neither Suozzo nor Wood attended SUNY Geneseo.
Both Suozzo and Wood were ordered held on bail.
Wood also had charges pending on Long Island for assault and weapons possession.
