Brockport, N.Y. - Controversial author and speaker - Tucker Max has canceled an upcoming appearance at SUNY Brockport.
Max approached the school and decided to cancel his visit - realizing its a difficult time for the students.
Alexandra Kogut, a freshman, was beaten to death by her boyfriend in her McLean dorm room on September 29th.
Some students fought to have his visit canceled - saying he makes inappropriate jokes about sensitive topics such as rape.
