Rochester, N.Y. -
CrimeStoppers is looking for your help to keep prevention programs going.Police Chiefs from nearly a dozen local jurisdictions gathered Thursday morning to launched a "Designate Your Dollars" fundraising initiative as part of the 2012 United Way Campaign.
CrimeStoppers Fund 2366 is the not-for-profits donor designated number assigned by the United Way.
The initiative helps fund programs like the "felony fugitive flyer" as well as "safetip" - which allows citizens to make anonymous tips about crime and get a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest.
United Way simplifies the donor process so that you can designate as little as $1 per week to CrimeStoppers Fund 2366 campaign on your pledge card through automatic payroll deduction or direct billing.
