Rochester, N.Y. - Investigators believe a gunman in a double shooting in Rochester Monday night fired multiple shots toward a group of people.
An off-duty Rochester Police officer heard about ten gunshots in the area of Jay and Ames Streets around 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
A 25-year-old man was found shot in the back at the corner of Jay and Colvin Streets. He is in guarded condition at Strong Memorial Hospital, but is expected to survive.
A 21-year-old man was found shot in the leg at the corner of Jay and Ames Streets. He has been treated and released from the hospital.
No arrests have been made. Police have not released a motive for the crimes.
