Pittsford, N.Y. – Police are searching for a suspect responsible for multiple attacks on a bicycle in Pittsford.
As 13 WHAM reported earlier this week, on Monday around 12:30 p.m., a male victim riding his bicycle on the Canal Path near Clover Street was beaten. A male suspect kicked Douglas Brown’s bike tire causing him to fall. The male suspect kicked and punched Brown’s head causing him to lose consciousness.
Two other victims have also come forward about similar incidents. On Thursday, October 6 at 4:30 p.m. another male victim was riding his bicycle on the canal path near Mitchell Road. He was approached by a suspect who was riding a bicycle and then assaulted. Another person attempted to intervene and was also assaulted by the suspect.
A third attack happened on October 9 around 7:45 p.m. A man, who was riding his bicycle in the area of Lock 32, was approached by the male suspect who was also riding a bicycle. The suspect attempted to grab the victim. The victim was able to get away without any injuries.
On Friday, October 7, around 6:45, a male was walking his dog near Holley Creek, in Pittsford, when he was approached by a suspect on a bicycle. The suspect assaulted the victim. A male neighbor tried to help, but was also assaulted.
The suspect is described is a male white, 30-40 years of age, 6'0" tall, 200 pounds and balding. The suspect has a tattoo on his right bicep and has been seen riding a dark colored mountain bike.
