Rochester, N.Y. - Dorian "Terrell" Townsend was named after a boxer and loved to fish and watch football.
He had his mother's heart and his father's contagious smile.
Dorian, whom friends called by his middle name of "Terrell", was on the front porch of his girlfriends home on First Street September 8th.
He was shot to death around 9 o'clock that night.
Townsend lived long enough to give his mother a message. He had his girlfriend call her and in the background Wendolyn Black could hear her son saying: "tell her I'm going to be okay."
Hours later he died at the hospital.
His family is still struggling with the shock and their grief. They believe "Terrell" wasn't the intended target and that whoever did this, was after someone else.
They insist he was loved and had no enemies.
Terrell was the father of two children he adored. He had loving parents and three sisters who spoiled him.
They are lost without him and are appealing to the public for help to solve his murder.
