Rochester, N.Y. – Friday night at the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival boasts fantastic talent.
Norah Jones is the headliner at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre.
Her show sold out quickly.
Also tonight, Jimmie Vaughan plays –you can hear him for free-- at 9 pm. He'll entertain at the East Avenue and Chestnut Street stage.
Gov't Mule plays Saturday night—another concert you can enjoy at no cost.
“We're influenced by a lot of different genres, we're a rock band influenced by jazz, blues, and folk -- so many different elements--with touches back and forth on all of it over the course of the evening,” said Warren Haynes of Gov't Mule.
An extended interview with Haynes can be seen and heard at 13WHAM's Jazz Lounge.
