Rochester, N.Y. – Sgt. Justin Collins has been quick to sign up to patrol the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival.“It’s a lot of fun,” Collins said.
Every night, a handful of officers walk through the festival keeping the peace – and the beat.
“We’re all business, always ready to react, but it’s full of energy and a great opportunity to engage with the community,” Collins said.
Collins adds they end up fielding a bevy of questions from tourists looking for directions or a good music suggestion.
