A survey of women in prison finds most of them are minorities, between the ages of 30 to 39, substance abusers and mothers. What are their chances of rehabilitation in prison and what awaits them on the outside?  We'll find out in an interview with Step By Step of Rochester.

Plus, Rochester 175th anniversary wouldn’t be complete without paying homage to one our city’s most prominent citizens.  The play “Ashcakes” is currently playing at RAPA’s East End Theatre and it tells the story of Frederick Douglass’ life in the South Wedge of Rochester.

About the Show
"Many Voices, Many Visions" is a multicultural public affairs program airing on 13WHAM-TV Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. The show explores our community's diversity in terms of race, ethnicity, creed, age, gender, gender orientation and ability. Teachers are invited to tape the programs for educational use. Each week the original "Many Voices, Many Visions" theme song is performed by different Rochester community members. Student performances are welcome.
