October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and the Breast Cancer Coalition is preparing for a gala called the "ARTrageous Affair" on October 17th. Find out how this organization supports women who's lives have been changed by breast cancer.

Plus, activist Julia Butterfly Hill visits Rochester on October 16th at the invitation of breathe spa owner, Cyndi Weis. Weis and her daughter talk about how they met Hill and why activism isn't just paying lip service to a cause.

About the Show

"Many Voices, Many Visions" is a multicultural public affairs program airing on 13WHAM-TV Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. The show explores our community's diversity in terms of race, ethnicity, creed, age, gender, gender orientation and ability. Teachers are invited to tape the programs for educational use. Each week the original "Many Voices, Many Visions" theme song is performed by different Rochester community members. Student performances are welcome.
