A local business is working to help feed people who are seemingly a world away.  Breathe yoga hosted a “farm-to-table” event to benefit Haiti. Over the last few years, Breathe has raised money for programs in Cambodia, Uganda and South Africa. Breathe's owner and her daughter join us to talk about why acting locally can have an international impact.

Also, Bethel Christian Fellowship on East Avenue held its second annual Arts and Crafts Bazaar on November 12th and 13th. The proceeds from the sale are helping fund the church's local outreach programs. We took a look at the items for sale and talked, specifically, how Bethel is reaching out to help enrich local students' education.

Plus, G. Peter Jemison joined us to talk about the history of the Canandaigua Treaty Day held on November 11th. A 217 year-old treaty with the United States is commemorated on that day.

Teachers are invited to tape the programs for educational use. Each week the original "Many Voices, Many Visions" theme song is performed by different Rochester community members. Student performances are welcome.
