Children Awaiting Parents prepares to hit the track to raise money and awareness about the organization. Children Awaiting Parents helps find adoptive parents for children in foster care. Also on the show, what if Cancer was history by the year 2020? Camp Good Days & Special Times is taking part in a series of summits called "Cancer Mission 2020". Plus, we catch up with a local nursing student just back from a medical trip to El Salvador. Jenny LaVigne traveled with a dozen nursing and pharmacy students from St. John Fisher College this summer. While in La Union, El Salvador she worked alongside doctors and other healthcare practitioners to treat the people of that community. She hopes to continue her nursing degree when she graduates this December.
