This week we speak to Mr. Jorge Volpi, the #1 bestselling author in Mexico.  He visited the University of Rochester recently for a reading and discussion about his new book, “Season of Ash.”  Just this month, the book was released in English by the University of Rochester’s Open Letter International Publishing.

Also, the power of art to heal and transform people is on full display at Continuing Developmental Services in Webster.  The organization helped support the artwork of its clients by featuring the pieces at a gala recently. We’ll get a chance to see some of that artwork and find out how you, too, can own an original.

About the Show
"Many Voices, Many Visions" is a multicultural public affairs program airing on 13WHAM-TV Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. The show explores our community's diversity in terms of race, ethnicity, creed, age, gender, gender orientation and ability. Teachers are invited to tape the programs for educational use. Each week the original "Many Voices, Many Visions" theme song is performed by different Rochester community members. Student performances are welcome.
