Young people who are incarcerated often feel as closed off from the world as they do in their cells. It’s an environment that many of us will never experience. Fortunately, the New York State Literary Center, based in Fairport, is helping bringing art and literacy programs to these young people. We'll learn how the program works and hear some success stories.

Also, the life of Nelson Mandela provides the backdrop for the 40th anniversary of Garth Fagan Dance. Its newest work is called "Madiba". We'll hear from Mr. Fagan himself about the show and how he's preserved his vitality after four decades. Joining him is one of his principal dancers, Norwood Pennewell, who is debuting his own work in "Madiba".
