It is said that leaders are born, not made. However, could the reverse also be true?  The United Way of Greater Rochester wants to develop future leaders. Its African American and Latino Leadership Development Programs are now recruiting participants for 2009. AALDP and HLDP help build upon participants' strengths to help them become active members of community organizations.
We hear from two graduates about how the programs helped them.

The issue of elder care is a concern for people of allbackgrounds, but for those in chronically underserved populations its an areaof disparity.  My guests know a lot aboutthat and they’re here to talk about how one agency is helping make a change.

About the Show
"Many Voices, Many Visions" is a multicultural public affairs program airing on 13WHAM-TV Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. The show explores our community's diversity in terms of race, ethnicity, creed, age, gender, gender orientation and ability. Teachers are invited to tape the programs for educational use. Each week the original "Many Voices, Many Visions" theme song is performed by different Rochester community members. Student performances are welcome.
