Set back just a bit off of Joseph Avenue is a cluster of well-kept buildings and grounds.  Amid a neighborhood struggling with  poverty and crime, Wilson Commencement Park stands out also for its focus on achievement. The organization helps low income, single parent families become stable financially and otherwise.  We'll hear from the organization's new CEO and learn about a fundraiser featuring singer/songwriter Jeffrey Osborne on November 15th for its annual Jazz For The Park benefit.

With a success rate of 90 percent, The Housing Council is a resource people struggling with their mortgages need to know about! The organization provides FREE counseling for people who face foreclosure.  Alex Castro, Executive Director, shares the secret to The Housing Council's success.
