We often hear about the need for diversity in the workplace.  What does that mean?  With an aging population and people returning from war overseas what will the workplace of the future look like? My guest is an educator who teaches human resources students about the need to employ a multigenerational, multicultural workforce.

Plus, the shoreline of the Durand Eastman Beach is the place to be July 3rd as the Maafa Celebration Committee holds its Day of Remembrance.  More than just a day at the beach, the event is a chance for people to honor those who died during the Middle Passage, the journey from Africa to America.

About the Show
"Many Voices, Many Visions" is a multicultural public affairs program airing on 13WHAM-TV Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. The show explores our community's diversity in terms of race, ethnicity, creed, age, gender, gender orientation and ability. Teachers are invited to tape the programs for educational use. Each week the original "Many Voices, Many Visions" theme song is performed by different Rochester community members. Student performances are welcome.

For information about the show, call (585) 321-2204 or e-mail Norma Holland at NHolland@13wham.com.
