Syracuse N.Y - Onondaga County District Attorney Bill Fitzpatrick is expected to address the Bernie Fine investigation in a news conference Wednesday morning.
Fitzpatrick will speak at 10:30 a.m. at his office in Syracuse. You can watch the news conference live on 13wham.com.
Fine was fired from his position as assistant coach from the Syracuse University basketball team after allegations that Fine molested three men, including two former ball boys for the team.
The investigation into the allegations against Fine has since been taken over by the US Attorney's Office.
The Onondaga County District Attorney’s office is conducting its own investigation. Fitzpatrick still wants to verify and confirm how the Syracuse Police Department handled the accuser when he first came forward in 2002. The DA wants to find out if the accusations are true. He also wants to find out if there are more victims who haven't come forward yet.
