Alexis Arnold always knew she was destined to move out East. In 2011, she made that trek from the Midwest to the great state of New York.
Alexis is thrilled to call Rochester her new home.
Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Alexis got her start on an ABC mock news set at the Chicago museum at the age of 7. It was then, she had a desire to work in the news business. Alexis studied Journalism at Indiana University.
While she never saw Bobby Knight toss a chair, she witnessed plenty of thrilling men’s basketball games.
As a member of the Marching Hundred and Big Red Basketball Pep Band, she got to meet sportscasters Clark Kellogg and Dick Vitale.
She landed her first job in Quincy, Illinois as the Weekend Anchor/ Reporter, where she met her husband Justen, who was the Weekend Weather Anchor. From there, Alexis became the morning reporter at KWQC in Davenport, Iowa.
An avid lover of Zumba Fitness, Alexis can be found working out during her free time or playing her clarinet.
She also enjoys cheering on ‘Da Bears, Da Bulls’ and of course her Hoosiers.
Alexis and Justen spend a lot of their free time chasing their one year old daughter.
