Norma Holland has anchored 13WHAM News This Morning since 2002 and has worked at 13WHAM since 1996. She says a passion for news, laughter, and strong Spanish coffee make getting up at 2am bearable.
Norma started out as an intern while in her third year at SUNY Geneseo and has filled a number of roles at the station ever since. Norma says, "Working at 13 WHAM has been a privilege. I grew up watching the station as a kid! Plus, I can truly say that my co-workers are like a family to me."
When she's not working, Norma spends time with her family in Irondequoit where she grew up. "They are the most important people to me and being able to live and work near them is a blessing", she says.
Norma is an active member of Latinas Unidas, a latina women's networking group and regularly emcees events for various organizations.
She is married and lives in Rochester with her husband, Matthew, and two Chihuahuas, Pancho and Coco.
