Boeing can now move ahead with its redesigned battery for the 787 Dreamliner.

The Federal Aviation Administration approved the design Tuesday.

The fleet was grounded after several of the old batteries leaked.  One of the batteries even caused a fire.

The planes still have to go through test flights before they can carry passengers again.
