(CNN) - Facebook is asking its users for advice on new privacy policies.
Users have just under a week to vote on proposed changes to the social network's data use and rights policies.
The company posted the revisions last month, which sparked outrage from many privacy groups.
Facebook is using a customized voting app that will allow a third party to tally the results.
Voting ends Monday, December 10 at noon.
