(Rochester, N.Y.) - A court ruled Thursday that  blood evidence will be allowed at the trial of a Greece police officer accused in a hit and run crash last summer.

Nicholas Joseph, currently on suspension, is accused in a crash that sent a pregnant woman  into premature labor.

A toxicologist testified last week that cocaine was detected in dried blood found on an airbag in the car Joseph was driving.
