Kodak Needs Court Approval to Keep Lights Turned On

Rochester, N.Y. – Eastman Kodak needs to get court approval to pay its monthly utilities including phone, electricity and water bills.

Kodak spends close to $6 million a month on utilities. The company filed a motion in Bankruptcy Court to continue to pay these bills.

The company also requested $3 million to be put in its bank account to cover bills for the next two weeks.

Kodak filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last week.
