Rochester, N.Y. -- Eastman Kodak announced Monday it is closing the thermal media coating and finishing operation located in Building 319 at Eastman Business Park.
The company says the closure is effective immediately. Most of the 80 employees who work in Building 319 will be impacted.
All thermal media coating will now be performed at a facility in Colorado, which Kodak says is better equipped to meet current and future demand.
Kodak says the changes will not have any impact on customers and most of its suppliers.
