Thanks for responding Rachel. Basically boils down to $78MIL in tax dollars, for starters, how long till we see a return? That probably wasn't part of the deal huh?

Midtown is almost empty now, except for a few people. tear it down , start over, lets just not have our tax dollars involved like the fast ferry

So any better ideas on what to do with midtown? Should we leave it alone for the homeless and drug dealers to hang out in? Midtowns time has come and gone. Lets move on.

The $78 million figure includes $65 million from the state and about $13 million from the city.

So the preliminary number is $78 MIL. Does that include bailing PAETEC out when they stop building or decide not to? Remember we did buy the ferry twice, and we're still paying for it.

Midtown?/Paetec will be a sinkhole of funds for the next decade, and will take the better part of the next century to get paid off.
