Rochester, N.Y. - Several local bands are showing their support for the West Webster Fire Department.
Nine groups are performing at the Firehouse Saloon in downtown Rochester Sunday as part of a fundraiser for the victims of a deadly shooting on Christmas Eve.
Two firefighters, Lt. Mike Chiapperini and Tomasz Kaczowka, were killed, and two others, Ted Scardino and Joe Hofstetter, injured when a gunman opened fire when they were responding to a house fire on Lake Road.
Scardino and Hofstetter left the hospital Saturday to continue their recoveries at home.
Bands will play until midnight.
There is a $10 suggested donation at the door. All of those proceeds will go to the West Webster Volunteer Fireman's Association, which will go to the families of the victims. A portion of the bar sales will also go toward that fund.
