New York State Police start "Operation Hang Up" Wednesday.
Just don’t talk on the phone while driving.
Additional troopers are on the clock beginning November 21.
The goal is twofold—to spread awareness about dangers of using your phone while behind the wheel, and preventing the practice from happening in the first place.
Operation Hang Up runs through Sunday, November 25.
