ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Amerks will be without two of the team's top forwards on Friday when Rochester host Hamilton, thanks to suspensions handed down by the AHL on Wednesday.
Jonathan Parker was suspended for one game after a high-sticking incident in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Grand Rapids Griffins.
In the same game, Foligno was whistled for boarding and was given a two-game suspension Wednesday, meaning that along with Friday's game, Foligno will also have to sit this coming Saturday when Rochester heads to Toronto.
The Amerks have won three straight games after starting the season 0-2 and host Hamilton on Friday night at Blue Cross Arena.
