The Buffalo Bills fell to the Houston Texans, 21-9 on Sunday, November 4th, dropping the Bills to 3-5 on the season.

One of the biggest storylines coming into the game was the return of Mario Williams to Houston, where he spent the first six years of his career after the Texans drafted him with the first pick in 2006. Williams had his best game in a Bills uniform, collecting seven tackles and a sack.

The Bills offense could not back up a strong effort from the defense. Ryan Fitzpatrick passed for 239 yards and consistently moved the ball between the twenties. But the Bills never reached the end zone, instead having to settle for three Ryan Lindell field goals on four opportunities.

Matt Schaub had a strong, efficient day under center for Houston, completing 19-27 passes for 268 yards with two touchdowns. Arian Foster ran for 111 yards and a touchdown, his tenth rushing touchdown in eight games this season.

The Bills were paced on the ground by C.J. Spiller, though he only carried the ball six times for 39 yards.

Buffalo travels to New England to take on the Patriots next Sunday in week 10.
