Fred Jackson has been patient waiting for his new deal from the Buffalo Bills. It looks like he won't have to wait too much longer. General Manager Buddy Nix told Buffalobills.com that it is his plan to have Jackson signed to a new contract by the time the team shows up for training camp at the end of July at St John Fisher College.
Jackson is coming into the final year of his deal with the Bills. He was having an MVP type season in 2011 before a foot injury ended his season in November. Nix has said that the starting tailback job with the Bills is up for grabs between Jackson and CJ Spiller.
