The Rochester Knighthawks had two NLL titles to their name, but none since 2007.
It didn't look good early, but it sure did look good late.
The Knighthawks rallied from a 5-1 halftime deficit to beat the Edmonton Rush 9-6, winning the 2012 NLL championship, and taking home the Champion's Cup for the third time.
Cody Jamieson was named game MVP, scoring four goals and adding four assists. Goalie Matt Vinc deserves more than honorable mention, making 46 stops and keeping the Knighthawks in it throughout the first half when the offense couldn't generate many opportunities.
The win finishes an improbable run for the Knighthawks, who finished the season with a sub-500 record, and had to work just to get in the playoffs.
