ROCHESTER, N.Y. - He is one of the best goalies in Rhinos soccer history, and on Wednesday Billy Andracki will become another piece of Rochester soccer history when he is introduced as the head coach of the Rochester Lancers, according to sources with knowledge of the Lancers coaching situation.
At the moment, Andracki is in his sixth season as the Rochester Rhinos goalies coach, the same position he played with the team from 1996-2003.
As a player Andracki ranks second in Rhinos history behind only Scott Vallow with 55 victories and was a part of all four Rhinos championship teams.
The Lancers, an indoor professional soccer team are scheduled to begin play this fall in the MISL.
As we previously reported first, it is also worth noting that Andracki will be coaching one of his teammates, another Rochester soccer legend, Doug Miller.
