15-year old Pittsford golfer Gavin Hall has been given a sponsor's exemption to play in a PGA Tour event at Turning Stone Casino.

Hall, who recently made the quarterfinals of the US Junior Championships, will now compete against many of the top professional golfers on the tour.

The Turning Stone Championship was won last year by Matt Kuchar.  It will be played at Atunyote Golf Club on August 2-8.

Hall is not eligible for the $4 million in prize money because he will play the event as an amateur.
