The return of the NHL is something hockey fans have been pining for, and it's almost here. But as the Sabres return to the ice, the Amerks lose some serious firepower. Marcus Foligno, Cody Hodgson, and T.J. Brennan have all left town, leaving Rochester without three of its top six scorers.

That means more opportunities for other players to step up, make plays, and give the Amerks the push they need in the second half of the season.
