Fairport lacrosse coach Mike Torrelli wasn’t sure early on this season just what his team was capable of. Fast forward two months and the Red Raiders are 19-0, ranked in the top 10 nationally, and are just a handful of wins away from a state title. But while they may not have suffered defeat on the field this season, Fairport’s road to this point has been anything but smooth. One obstacle in particular, though, has the Red Raiders rallying, and poised for atmospheric success.
