The defending NLL Champion Rochester Knighthawks were denied their fourth straight victory, losing 10-6 to the Buffalo Bandits on Saturday night at the Blue Cross Arena.
The Knighthawks, who started the season 0-3, took a 3-2 lead late in the second quarter. But Buffalo closed the half with three consecutive goals, taking a 5-3 lead into the half, and never looking back.
Anthony Cosmo made a season high 53 saves in holding the Knighthawks to just six goals.
With the loss, Rochester falls to 3-4 on the season, and misses a chance to take over sole possession of second place.
