Avon, N.Y. - A piece of pro wrestling history has been found in Avon.

The story, from Canadian Web site "Slam Sports," reports a woman named Annie Barend went through the belongings of her late husband, a pro wrestler named Johnny Barend--and found two Gold Title belts.

They had been stored at a home in Avon.

She's learned that one of them is the belt that legendary wrestler Buddy Rogers lost to Bruno Sammartino in 1963.

That title change led to the creation of the World Wide Wrestling Federation which has since evolved into the company now known as WWE.

The belt has been purchased by a man who makes many of WWE's current title belts.
