As the world's best golfers gather at locust hill country club for the lpga championship, there's one particular hazard they'll need to be extra careful to avoid.

It's not the woods or the trees.

It's not the sand either.

It's not even the water, though i wouldn't hit it there either.

What it is looks harmful from a distance, but when you get close, you'll see, this rough is tough.

The rough stands about 4-5 inches tall, and that's if you stay in the short stuff.

Either way, it's more than deep enough to swallow your ball whole.

If you hit it in there, don't be surprised if it takes a little time to find your ball.

When you do find it, don't take your eyes off of it for one second.

You might lose it again.

Your best bet?

If you find the rough, just play it safe, and punch it out.

If that doesn't work, just do what I do.

Replace your sand wedge, with a hand wedge.

Just make sure nobody's watching when you throw it.
