Nazareth College had several reasons for starting a hockey program. In part the school wanted to help bring in more male students to what has always been a mostly female school population. They also wanted to bring in more students from outside the general Upstate New York area. But the players on the team just wanted to play hockey and win some games. 13WHAM's Toby Motyka checked in with the Flyers during season one
