The Rochester Red Wings used four homeruns to defeat the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs 10-0 at Coca Cola Park on Sunday night.

Chris Parmelee got the scoring started with his fourteenth homer of the year in the first inning. Leading 2-0 in the third, Matt Carson hit his thirteenth homerun to make it 4-0. Clete Thomas immediately followed with a solo shot of his own, his 12th, to make it 5-0.

Parmelee would add another in the ninth to cap off the scoring and give Rochester a 10-0 lead.

Pitcher Liam Hendricks, who struggled at the big league level this year, continues to excel for Rochester, pitching seven shutout innings, allowing just four hits while striking out four.

The win moved the Red Wings to 62-60 on the season, within four games of the Pawtucket Red Sox for the final playoff berth in the division.
