ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Andy Baldwin allowed three runs over seven innings of work and struck out eight Scranton-WB Yankees on Sunday, leading the Red Wings to a 6-3 win on the road.
The Wings provided plenty of pop at the plate, scoring four runs in the first inning, a lead that they never looked back from. Overall the Wings banged out 13 hits against Scranton pitchers.
Rene Tosoni led the Wings at the plate, driving in three runs, two on a first inning double and the other on his third home run of the season in the fifth.
Rochester returns to western New York to begin a four game series with the Bisons, beginning Monday at 6:05 p.m.
