Rochester Rhinos Goalkeeper Scott Vallow has announced his retiement. Vallow played for Rochester two different times in his pro career, from 2000-2002 and again from 2005 to this past season. During his time in a Rhinos uniform, Vallow had more wins (83) and more shutouts (34) than any goalkeeper in team history.

Through the Rhinos, Vallow expressed his gratitude to the franchise.  "I'd like to thank the Rhinos Organization for allowing me to live out my dream of becoming a professional soccer player” said Vallow.  “Every time I put on the Rhinos jersey, I was very proud to be a part of such a great tradition.  I wish the organization nothing but the best in the future."

Vallow will stay in Rochester and work as an assistant coach for the womens professional team, the Western New York Flash.
