BUFFALO -- Ryan Miller has been honored as the NHL's second star of the week following his standout performances in the Sabres two wins this past week.  Miller stopped all 51 shots that he faced, leading Buffalo to back-to-back shutouts over Columbus and Ottawa.

Miller has now gone 148:14 without allowing a goal and is 9-7-2 on the season with a 2.26 goals-against average.

The Sabres are now 11-13-3 overall and in fourth place in the Northeast Divison, trailing division-leading Montreal by 11 points.

Buffalo returns to the ice Tuesday night when they visit the Boston Bruins at 7:00 pm.
