BUFFALO, N.Y. - Terry Pegula will officially be introduced as the new owner of the Buffalo Sabres at an 11 a.m. press conference Tuesday morning at HSBC Arena.
The Sabres announced that Pegula is supposed to close on the sale with former Rochester resident Tom Golisano for a reported amount of $175 million, plus another $14 million debt.
Pegula will be joined at the press conference by NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman.
Tuesday's comments will be the first public comments made by Pegula since rumors of his interest in the team began to surface during the late part of 2010.
