ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Rochester Americans will be officially reunited with the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday morning at 11 A.M. at Blue Cross Arena in downtown Rochester.

Sabres owner Terry Pegula, President Ted Black, and General Manager Darcy Regier will all be in Rochester to discuss the Sabres future plans for the Amerks hockey team.

Buffalo and Rochester haven't been together as affiliates since the end of the 2008 season, which ended a run of 29 previous years with the Amerks providing a home for the Sabres top prospects.

This past Friday the Amerks announced that a purchase agreement had been signed by current owner Curt Styres and Pegula to complete the sale of the Americans.

13WHAM's award-winning sports team will have complete coverage from Blue Cross Arena throughout the day.
